CHERISH ENTERPRISE INSTITUTE  Dual Mode University College of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)

Cherish Enterprise Institute Limited was incorporated in 2012 to drive knowledge economy businesses in Nigeria in the areas of teaching, learning and research through intersectional collaboration and partnership with organisations and institutions in both the public and private sector.

CEIL was later accredited by the National Board for Techanical Education (NBTE) as an innovative enterprise institute for the award of National INNOVATION Diploma (NID) and National Innovation Certificate (NIC) in February 2014.

In December 2014, the senate of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) approved the status of CEIL as Coomunity Study Center (Northwest) of NOUN. This approval afforded CEIL the right of undertaking all certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes of NOUN through open distance learning (ODL).

The perculiarities of the Northwest GEOPOLITICAL zone where CEIL operates necessitated the adoption of the dual-mode learning approach to CEIL/NOUN programme subscribers for enhanced competitiveness.

For added value and incentivisation to our numerous focal persons, CEIL brought on board other international ONLINE programmes to complement existing NOUN programmes and at the same time introduce to the international programmes on campus lectures, tutorials, internship and mentorship along with practicals in association with the network of CEIL dual-mode partner institutions not only in the North-west but throughout Nigeria.

CEIL dual-infrastruture, ICT equipment and teacher capacity; with faculty of over 25 PhD holders in different specializations and about 30 Masters-First Degree holders, sufficiently position CEIL for the effective management of both NOUN and the international ONLINE programmes.
